Three Independences P.E.teaching model was put forward by the Guide Outlines of Teaching of P.E.Curriculum.The practice of this model results in a revolutionary reform for traditional P.E.model and it brings on great changes in teaching guidelines,targets,contents,means,and evaluations and so on.But because of the distance of different universities in aspects of teachers and ground establishment,the practice of it exist many problems.With the means of literature review,questionnaire investigation,mathematical statistics,case study and logical analysis,this paper analyzes curriculum setting and teaching effects of Beijing 211 Project universities,and then draws the following conclusions:(1)Academic,intuitionist,unitary,stability and manipulative are the common characteristics of Three Independences P.E.teaching model.Humanism of guidelines; targets setting comprehensively;universality of course configuration;contents setting healthily and culturally,optionally and availably,logically and acceptably; teaching effects evaluating comprehensively and emphatically,which are the fundamental characteristics of Three Independences P.E.teaching model.(2)Compare Three Independences teaching model to traditional teaching model in cultivating the conception of students' P.E.value and the duration of the participating athletic sports,the differences are not obvious.But the teaching effects of the former are better than that of the latter in enhancing the frequencies of participating athletic sports and watching competitions and cultivating students' will.(3)Three Independences teaching model is propitious to improve students' ability of activity and urge students to master more athletic skills.In dealing with paroxysmal events,treating with athletic wound and common sense of participating activities and cultivating common sense of healthiness related to exercise,the teaching effects of the latter is not as good as that of the former.(4)Expect the aspects of cultivating the value cognition students' mental healthiness and setting exercise targets,the discrepancy is not evident.(5)In cultivating students' consciousness of cooperation and competition,both are almost the same.But in the others of cultivating students' social adoption,the effects of the Three Independences teaching model are much better.
