Problem solving is always the focus of psychology, in 1941, the famous scholars Polya used the problem-solving in teaching as a new teaching idea systematically. He thought problem solving is an action, which is trying to find some specific concept consciously but not achieving immediately. Finding out the action is problem solving. We can understand the problem-solving in teaching like this: in the procedure of teaching, teachers guide students to find actively, discover positively and solve problem by proposing questions or tasks in purpose. So that students can have a better understanding and use the basic knowledge. Finally students can be an effective problem solver.The question is the key to problem solving, if we want to design the reading questions, which can realize the reading purpose, we must have a better understanding of the particularity of reading. Meanwhile we must find out the types of reading questions. Based in this we can achieve the strategies of designing and solving problems in Chinese reading.Professor maker's Problem Continuum makes us know that problem solving can develop the students'abilities. If we combine the Problem Continuum and multiple intelligences and use multiple problems solving in Chinese reading, we can keep the questions in stage and in many types. In this article, I try to analyze the questions with Problem Continuum and it is proved that problem solving can develop the students'multiple abilities.
