Music curriculum standards of American schools pay more attention to the learning ability of students and the continuity of the development stage, and take into account different students of different music capacity for the expansion of space requirements. But its focus on "measurable" so as to testing student's particular ability , however ,its form is too monotonous. And our country's music curriculum standards don't have a clearly divided for different students may reach the specific criteria. But the way in the evaluation of many assessment methods such as "a combination of formative evaluation and intermediary evaluation", are trying to represent the principles of oriented, scientific ,entirety , operability and their unity. Such characteristics which are pay more attention to comprehensive make up for there is no specific grading criteria greatly.Since the end of the 20th century , Japan and China have carried out reform of basic education. China put forward "Moral Education" as the core of primary and secondary education reform. Japan put forward "viability" as the primary and secondary education reform objectives. Although the wording is different, the two country's education reform and practice have similarity. The ultimate goal of education reform between the two countries are likely :First, teaching Students how to have a good relationship ; Second ,Training Student's basic ability ; Thirdly, training Student's spirit of innovative and practical ability .So , the two countries issued the "New Century music curriculum standards" and "study guide essentials" have the same purpose. The goal of music education are the same basically.Germany is a federal country, Music education in schools of each states hve the initiative greatiy. Because of there is no unified national textbook,This makes school system of Germany have a diversity of musical situation,such as active thinking, diversity.China's school music education system have a great improvement than in the past . However, there are still have Shortcomings.firstly, Judging from the curriculum and teaching materials, the curriculum and teaching materials is too single. Nowadays,the global economic and cultural development trend a sign of emerge. People of all ethnic groups becoming more and more eager to mutual understanding and mutual exchanges, the diversify of voices of music education is also getting more important.
