In order to accurately know the contribution of students studying abroad to social development and appraise them objectively and fairly, the author selects the students from the area of the Yangtze River delta and analyses their employment situation by comparison with the method of statistics. Many children studying abroad in America and students in Japan came from the area of the Yangtze River delta. As a result of different historical environment, social demands and government policy in different form, the employment situation and historic effect of students studying abroad are different. From these aspects the author analyses the situations, features and contributing factors of the employment of students studying abroad, so as to reflect the relation between the employment of students studying abroad and social development.
