A Study On ZhangChuting's University Management Philosophy

The core of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies are people-oriented concept, which including the concept of student-centered, teacher-centered, teaching and research-based and talent-based and so on. Studying on ZhangChuting's university management ideologies, we can Put forward some measures to solve the problems which existed in today's university in China, and provide theoretical basis for us to construct high level universities in our country.This paper studies ZhangChuting's university management ideologies from four perspectives. First of all, in the introduction part, this paper analyzes in-depth about the previous studies of this issue and puts forward some studies which surpassed the previous studies.In the first chapter, the paper discusses the contents and features of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies, and makes a comparative analysis between ZhangChuting's university management ideologies and CaiYuanpei's and Zhang Boling's university management ideologies. The main contents of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies include five aspects: Student-centered and teacher-centered replacing official-centerad; Office of Academic Affairs is the most important department in university; Introducing first-class teachers and constructing first-class disciplines; finding a soul for university, constructing Invisible culture for university; Enabling students to become their own. In the second chapter, this paper mainly discusses the formation of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies, which including the forming background and some impacting factors. In the third chapter, the paper focuses on the effectiveness of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies, which is proved by investigations of the development process of the Hunan Normal University. This chapter is divided into three parts: First, deepening reform of the university; Second, the implementation of human resources strategy; Third, coming into the "211 Project". In the fourth chapter, the paper attaches great importance to the enlightenments for our country to construct high level universities which given by ZhangChuting's university management ideologies. This chapter includes the following three aspects: First, optimizing the University environments to attract first-rate talents; Second, strengthening the management of academic research to curb academic corruption; Third, paying much attentions to the importance of philosophy and basic theory research. Finally, in the conclusion part, the paper summarizes the theoretical value and practical significance of ZhangChuting's university management ideologies to today's university management in China.
