The study on the present conditions and development of our national bi-linguistic teaching methods is a challenging job. The bi-linguistic teaching activities have been enforced step by step nationally as a result of our opening-up policies, which is of great significance.In accordance with those research materials we have found, some experiences and better teaching models have been established , but the general atmosphere is not so good and cheerful. We have no clear understanding of what is bi-linguistic teaching in Chinese context. How to go through such activities effectively is a problem to be resolved. The main problems have been pointed out on the base of relative data .The mail problems lie in some aspects, for example, the students who are accepting bilingual education, bilingual teachers and bilingual teaching materials .The reasons leading to these problems have also analyzed , they are the lack of proper attitude , understanding , policy and environment of bilingual education .In order to find some reasonable developing methods, this dissertation analyzed some classical teaching models, characteristics and their implementing ways. Then it pointed out the reforming directions and gave a detailed discussion on such elements as requirements, cases and disadvantages and advantages and their choices of those teaching models. Some suggestions have been given from some aspects , for example , increasing people's knowledge about bilingual education , perfecting the policy system in this area , improving the environment of bilingual in the universities , increasing the number and enhancing the ability of bilingual teaching staff and establishing an evaluation system in bilingual education. So far , the bilingual teaching is in an experimental period . our country has not conclude a complete system of its theory in the bilingual teaching .we have achieved some progress since we started the experiment of bilingual teaching .At the same time , some new problem appeared .many university are trying their best to practice bilingual teaching .They are doing so according to their experience and lessons through practice .It is beginning of bilingual teaching in our counting . It has a long way to go from now then on .
