Research On The Interactive Development Of School Physical Education And Traditional Sports Of Minorities In Rural Schools In Zunyi City

Zunyi, a secondary city, is located in the western region in Guizhou Province. It offers good opportunities for the development of the sports in Zunyi rural schools on account of the opportunities brought by the great western development strategy, the preference of the special policy of agriculture, rural areas and farmers on rural education and the inspection of the basic nine-year compulsory education and the basic elimination of the illiteracy among young and middle-aged. However, sports stadiums, the equipment facilities and teachers are inadequate to meet the normal physical education for the economic reasons; even 16.7% of primary school could not carry out physical education. The backwardness of physical education in rural schools in Zunyi city severely affected the level of quality education.Traditional sports of minorities bear a great significance not only in history but also in culture. There are rich and diverse forms of traditional sports of minorities in Zunyi rural areas, but most of the traditional sports of minorities are facing the danger of disappearance and extinction except a few eye-catching traditional sports items of minorities in the outlook of people.With the purpose of mitigating the backward development of the sports in rural schools in Zunyi city, inheriting and developing the traditional sports of minorities, the author of this thesis makes a feasible research on the introduction of the traditional sports of minorities in Zunyi City into school sports education through the literature, the investigation, experiment and logical analysis. The result of the research proves that the traditional sports of minorities can achieve the same effect that modern sports can enhance the students' physical fitness and improve students' interest in sports.Therefore, part of the traditional sports of minorities can enter the campus through textbook, which can achieve the good effect of the interactive development of the traditional sports of minorities and the rural school sports. This effect is very important and necessary not only to the rural school sports but also to the traditional sports of minorities.
