Research On The Development Of Chinese Martial Arts At The Post-Olympic Age

This article,uses the methods of consulting literature material, logical analysis, expert interview, is a research on the development of Chinese martial arts at the Post-Olympic Age. Concept is the beginning of logical thinking, first of all, the research limits concepts of Post-Olympic Age and martial arts. Post-Olympic Age refers to a longer period that a series of changes take place in the host country, such as politics, economy, sports and so on. Central Party Committee President Hu Jintao has a summary report on Olympic Games, the report has formulated the detailed strategic target and policy on the sports front at the Post-Olympic Age. All sports must rest on the spirit of summary report.The concept of martial arts is discussing and changing. At present, there are two different academic viewpoints, one defines the content and form of martial arts in the area of body movement technical level and sports projects. Another thinks it is not enough. Because martial arts has many objective phenomena which have already surpassed the sports area, Former view neither conform to martial arts objective situation, nor favor its fundamental research. Manifestations of martial arts non-sporting nature should be integrated into the martial arts concept. This article supports the latter.In this paper, the following conclusions obtained by studying:1. In 2008, our country held successfully the Olympic Games, after that, sports development targets, the policy, the system, the mechanism will have some new changes. Martial arts is a part of sports, at the Post-Olympic Age, development of martial arts must conform to the general goals and policy.2. In order to realize the strategic target, establish sports powerful nation, the goal that Chinese martial arts enters into the Olympic Games cannot be changed, cannot be idled. Instead, we should further strengthen athletics martial arts construction, further promote its dissemination all over the world, show martial arts on the Olympic Games' highest platform.3. Established the strategic target of sports powerful nation, the population of sports participation and national quality are an extremely important symbol. Thus, it will provide new opportunity for the development of Chinese traditional martial arts. Because, traditional martial arts has colorful content, may provide different kind for different interest in the martial arts-loving person4. Although, martial arts belongs to the cultural attribute, is managed by the culture departments, the martial arts show the art of attack and defense, conforms to common substantive characteristics of martial arts. Therefore, we should view martial arts as an important constituent. Then, we would strengthen its theoretical study and make that serve for us to understood correctly it and further instruct its practice.
