With the reform of international education, education reform in China is making the way to go forward. At present, the most effective teaching ways are school-based curriculum development and project-based learning. The former intends to develop the course which is adapting to different schools. And the latter is focused on solving problems. The purpose of the two teaching ways is the same that not make students to be the person with memory and imitation in a fixed way but to be the person with ability and creation. In the light of the merits of two ways, the thesis is mainly to play their role by using facts research.In the first part, it appropriately explains the school-based curriculum development and project-based learning based on the research results by the prehuman. It is also to be the theory basis of the in-future research.In the second part, it presents the process of the school-based curriculum development based on project-based learning. Firstly, making the object is the key to the following course arrangement. Secondly, make clear the theme, scope and field. Confirm the theme will take the following factors into consideration. One is the inner needs of students; the other is the material and information be composed of school-based curriculum development. The thesis in this part is focused on discoursing upon the evidence and requirement for project choice. Thirdly, the key point of project-based learning is the true experiences of students. The author is discussing students activities and the assignment of teachers and students based on three procedures preparation, operation and summery of the activities. Finally, the author does research on the evaluation of project-based learning and standards.In the third part, the author gives out a project-based learning case developed by himself. This case is not only demonstrating the theory part of the thesis, but also used for reference to other teachers. Teachers can refer to the frame setting and difficulties of the problem in this case and develop school-based curriculum development of project-based learning. In the fourth part, the thesis gives out problems found and ways of improvement during and after the case. Readers will improve the school-based curriculum development when refer to this part.There is collecting and choose a large amount of research material in writing the thesis. In theory, it explains school-based curriculum development based on project-based learning. In practice, it is not only gives out some cases but also the practice of the cases. Further, it gives out the instructions and improvement to help the scholars and teachers doing further research.
