Correlational Research On Senior High School Student' Addiction To Internet And Sense Of Alienation In An Shan City

In 21century, internet has become an important tool in humanbeing's life. It brought benefice to people such as life , traffic, information exchange, shopping and so on,but it also brought harmful things such as Internet addiction.In china,adolescent Internet Addiction has become the focus of our society.As adolescent is an interim of tending to social maturity individual , their life view and merit view are obscure, they are always addicted to the unreal world of Internet.Studies indicate, alienation of high school students is one of the important reasons which leading to adolescent Internet Addiction. This research explored the cause of adolescent Internet Addiction of high school students,the correlation between Internet Addiction and alienation of high school students. The results show that:(1) The purpose of high school students'surfing the internet is amusement. Internet Addiction rate of An shan high school students was 8.67 percent which is similar to the former conclusion.The Internet impediment questionnaire shows that, there are significant differences in 8 dimensionality of the questionnaire between the Internet Addiction and the non- Internet Addiction, and the Internet Addiction is significantly higher than the non- Internet Addiction.Otherwise,the total of the Internet impediment questionnaire exist significant gender differences,boys'score is significantly higher girls'.(2) Mother'degree of education and Addiction to Internet display a marked difference. Mother'degree of education get best score for r addiction tointernet of primary schola, search for junior middle school student ,look for junior college student and undergraduates.(3) The differences on high school student alienation do not exist in gender,but exist in grade. Furthermore, there are significant differences between grade one and grade two, grade two and grade three,but there are no significant differences between grade one and grade three.(4) The correlation between the Internet addiction and alienation is intimate.The alienation score of the Internet addiction is significantly higher than the non- Internet Addiction. IAD dimensionality of high school student shows that the alienation score significant differences do not exist in gender,but exist in grade. the alienation score is not only significant differences with the total of the Internet impediment questionnaire,but also with 7 dimensionalities of questionnaire.
