Competitive Evaluation And Empirical Inquiry In Regional Sports Industry

This paper maks a systematical anlysis to competitive power of regional sports industry in china,points out major factors as well as evaluation principles of competitive of regional sports industry,and construct indicator system of its evaluation with the theoretical foundation of"Diamond Model"by Port.Simultaneously,it selects correlational index of economic society development of 8 provinces or cities such as Beijing,Anhui,Liaoning,Yunnan,Shanghai, Guangdong,Jiangxi,Inner Mongolian in 2000-2005,carries on the empirical analysis to competitive power of regional sports industry with the factor analytic method and the principal components analytic method.In addition,it draw a conclusion that competitive power of regional sports industry can be devided into 3 levels,namely strong areas of competitive power of sports industry(Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong), medium power areas of competitive power of sports industry(Liaoning),weak areas of competitive power of sports industry(Jiangxi,Inner Mongolia,Anhui,Yunnan). Among them,Beijing is the strongest area of competitive power of sports industry. Beijing is the fastest to enhance the competitiveness of the sports industry Judging from the time.Finally,it proposes pratical ways to promote competitive power of regional sports industry.The first part includes the introductory remark and the first chapter.The significance of the topic,research methods,theoretical foundation and research background were explained.The classical theory and the appraisal target of the competitiveness were carried on a comprehensive review and were synthetically elaborated.The second part includes the second chapter and the third chapter.The theoretical foundation and principles about the evaluation of the regional sports industry the competitiveness were put forward.An appraisal target system of urban Chinese sports competitiveness was designed.The conditions of sports competitiveness in the eight provinces(municipalities)were analyzed.The appraisal target system of the regional sports industry competitiveness was constructed from core competitiveness,demand competitiveness,factor competitiveness,and environment competitiveness.The sports industry competitiveness of the eight provinces(municipalities)was analyzed.The third part is the fourth chapter.The countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the regional sports industry competitiveness were proposed.
