Research About Status Of Smoking And Tobacco Control Effect In Changsha Middle School Students

Objective: To realize the actuality of smoking and appraise the effect oftobacco control in Changsha middle school students, in order to find outthe mode in tobacco control, reduce the smoking phenomenon in middleschool and establish a new school without tobacco.Methods: Two common middle schools were tooked by random clustersampling, one accepted tobacco contral about teaching, drumbeating andtraining, the other accepted nothing. The place of first smoking are mostly inschool, fun place and street, and most students want to smoke again afterfirst smoking. Appraise the effort of tobacco contral from three sidesabout KAP (Knowledge, Attitude, Proceeding) to. In the item school,the understand date of tobacco knowledge, the hold date of fine attitude,the behavior of advise abstain from smoking and reject tobacco,participate in none-smoking movement all were be advanced to 90percent, and the week and three months smoking date had been reducedto 10 and 2 percent after the control of tobacco, in the period of tobaccocontral, school strengthen gain ground the movement of preventsmoking and mention date of smoking knowledge in class.
