This paper investigated the using of literature material method, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis method. Taking 20 fitness clubs to investigate the status and comparative study between Lanzhou and Zhengzhou City. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Fitness Club is start late than other cities. Fitness club appeared in 1980s and fast developed in 1990s of the 20th century among China, and only appeared in some big cities like Beijing and Shanghai. Compare with that, fitness club appears in that two cities after 2000. The urban area of Lanzhou is bigger than Zhengzhou City's. Zhengzhou's GDP is higher than Lanzhou's. Zhengzhou City has a higher degree of economic development than Lanzhou City, so the amount of investment and the average area of stadiums are all bigger than Lanzhou's.(2) Private club is the main economic type, and supplemented by the joint management shares of enterprise in this two cities. On another hand, stuff-promotion style is taken in advertising in both cities. One specific factor in Zhengzhou is taken business promotion methods but Lanzhou not. The two cities have their market target that is the higher income groups, set their consumption level as an important factor in pricing. Besides, the season is also an important factor affecting pricing, especially winter is the off-season so fitness clubs in Zhengzhou City will resort to all means to promote their own services. Judging from the survey results, fitness clubs in Zhengzhou City get more profit s than the city of Lanzhou' s.(3) Male instructors are more than women in Lanzhou City, while women instructors slightly more than male in the city of Zhengzhou. Most full-time instructors are part-time who come from athletes or sports school, while most part-time teachers mainly from the 1 Sport School or the University Sports Institute and dance students of the institute, who are mainly high educated, university or university education accounted for more than the 98 percent of those surveyed.(4) Fitness instructors has a big fluidity that means one instructor always serves several a fitness clubs, which brings great influence to the consumer. From the teaching point of view, the curriculum taught by instructors is similar, which is not conducive to competition with other health club. In Lanzhou City, the most popular fitness instructors should have the ability of the top three are a "good professional skills," "great inspirational force" and "communicate with students frequently," and fitness instructor at Zhengzhou City, the most popular fitness instructors should have the ability is " communicate with students frequently," " great inspirational force " and "good professional skills." Lanzhou City fitness instructors will pay more attention to "a very good professional and technical", and fitness instructor in Zhengzhou City will pay more attention to the "communicate with students frequently " capabilities.(5) About 60.4 percent of club fitness instructors take part in continuing education, 57 percent of fitness instructors expressed satisfaction with the host club, for be able to exert their own capacity, 55 percent of the fitness instructor for the club to the treatment of expressed satisfaction in two cities.(6) Female fitness consumers are slightly more than males, and the age are concentrated from21 to 49 in two cities.(7) Compare with monthly consumer's level, average consumption level is between 51 to 500 yuan, and consumes 101 to 300 yuan is the majority. Generally speaking, Zhengzhou City, the average monthly consumer fitness level of consumption is higher than Lanzhou , and most people think cost 3% to 10% of personal income for the health consumer are more reasonable.(8) Consumption motive for consumers in Lanzhou are to "improve the shape, the pursuit of physical perfection", and the main consumers of Zhengzhou City's are "physical and mental pleasure, aquavit pressure." Zhengzhou consumer's motivations belong to a higher level of physical activity needs. Constraints of their fitness are a major factor in consumption, "have no time for themselves."(9) It is estimated that 80.5% of fitness consumers express their satisfaction with the fitness effects, and generally express their satisfaction with the club, where the consumer's favorite fitness instructors should have the characteristics of the top three are " good body-building, good image, "" exciting the students' atmosphere of fitness "and" high level of profession and technique.
