On Teachers' Verbal Behaviors For The Promotion Of Teacher-student Intercourse

The relationship between teachers and students is the main relationship at school and the intercourse between teachers and students is the most important way among social intercourse. How do teachers communicate with students influences both the effect of school education directly and the actualization of schools'functions. As the Syllabus of Elementary Education Curriculum Reformation points out, the process of teaching is the intercourse between teachers and students and the process of teachers and students'mutual-development. However, the outcome of the observation on classroom teaching practice reveals that patterns of teachers'verbal behaviors influence teacher-student intercourse and that bad teachers'verbal behaviors hinder the exertion of students'individuality and influence the development of teacher-student relationship. Therefore, based on the investigation of the current situations about how teachers'verbal behaviors influence teacher-student intercourse, this paper systematically studies current problems and countermeasures of teachers'verbal behaviors through theoretical and practical ways.Part One is Introduction about current research situations home and abroad, the main problems and the definition of research object.Part Two is the analysis of definitions about teachers'verbal behaviors and the instrumental definition.Part Three is about the mechanism of functions of teachers'verbal behaviors, namely, it is analyzing what kind of teachers'verbal behaviors can promote teacher-student intercourse effectively.Part Four is analysis of current situations and main problems of teachers'verbal behaviors in teacher-student intercourses by means of classroom observation.Part Five is the reflections of optimization of teachers'verbal behaviors, the countermeasures and suggestions about teachers'verbal behaviors which promote teacher-student intercourses in classroom teaching.
