On the basis of the new Curriculum Revolution and modern education theory, this study discussed how to elevate the efficiency in general review classes of junior physics by multimedia technology, respecting the traits of junior middle school physics and problems occurring in general review lessons. In this paper, strategies on the use of multimedia technology and principles in the design of multimedia teaching were put forward, besides, a pattern of multimedia-assisted in general review classes were discussed. Teaching practice had proved that the multimedia technology would supply the students with a whole new condition to perceive things and to master them. Especially, by helping students to build the solid foundation of physics, widen their physics knowledge, work through the difficulties, reinforce their confidence and excite their interesting in physics, the utilization of multimedia technology would enhance the efficiency substantially.Of course, there are still some disadvantages about multi-media in teaching practice. It is necessary to comprehend the Fitness for Use of multimedia technology in refresher courses in physics, and a whole enhancement of its effectiveness should be concerned. Finally, the author give a reflection on three aspects of the utilization of multimedia technology and the reasonable use of it, the organic integration of traditional teaching and multimedia teaching, paying attention to the teacher-student interaction and emotional communication were emphasized. As reference for the physics teachers, this article outlined strategies in the use of multimedia for a total review of the physics teaching practice, teaching cases, etc.
