This paper bases on the model analysis of the influence factor of the personal education choice, setting up Three Period Overlapping Generation Model composed by growth period, work period and pension period to study the problem of peasant households education choice. Through assuming the income is the function to the individual effort and the educational investment in the growth period, endogen the income into the model, and add the spiritual utility that brought by education level of three generations and the cost of individual effort into the utility function, thus more deeply analyze the problem of family education choice under the intergenerational transfer and intergenerational utility. Get four conclusions from model analysis, including: if the stronger the representative consumers' preference to the human capital is, the greater the efforts of two periods are; if representative consumers expect parents will give more bequest, they will incline to reduce the efforts of two periods; when parents make the income increase because of accumulation of the human capital, which will encourage children make more efforts in growth period; the educational investment will increase following with the increase of personal income and the increase of support that children to their parents. These conclusions are set up on the basis of strict assumption, when the preference form of individual or family is different from assumption of the model, the four conclusions above will be hard to valid. But the model it self still has value of better theoretical research, which could be a theory frame that involving the study of family intergenerational relationship.In order to further analyze the actual conditions of peasant household education choice, the author have carried on questionnaire investigation to the peasant households of some counties and districts in Gansu. The investigation result reveals, peasant households generally hope the child could receive education more, improve the educational level. Most peasant households have long-term planning and preparation in children's education, and generally would like to do their utmost to support children to receive education. The education expenditure will cause more prominent negative effect on the living standards of most peasant households. For the most peasant households, the factors such as the studying quality of children, whether children will repay parents in the future, etc. can not affect their support to children's education. Peasants generally hope children can go out of the countryside, and enter the cities and towns. Peasant households generally have the inclination to intergenerational transfer, parents would generally like to support for adult children's certain economy. And parents generally have the altruism motivation on children's education, from which parents indeed receive the compensation of certain spiritual utility. Meanwhile, the investigation result reveals that the idea of regarding men as superior to women has not disappeared, and the situation of dropping out of school at compulsory education stage still exists.
