This paper takes semi-structured interviews as the main research method, takes some family members in L village of A province as the research object, and uses social interaction theory as the analytical framework to understand the rural families in the period of social transformation by describing the intergenerational conflicts in contemporary rural areas. The development status of intergenerational relations paves the way for further construction of good intergenerational relations in rural areas. In this study, the author tries to explain the intergenerational conflicts, the escalation of intergenerational conflicts, and the end of intergenerational conflicts between the two generations of father and son in the process of mate selection in different places,to more clearly describe the intergenerational conflicts between the generations and the spouses.Phenomenon;through the collation and analysis of the phenomenon,it is further concluded that the cause of the intergenerational conflict is influenced by the subculture of the village, and the descendants of the offspring choose weaker intergenerational interaction and deviate from the value rationality.Suggestions for Harmony: Strengthen intergenerational identification, capitalize advantages, and balance family power. The author draws some preliminary conclusions through the attention and research on the intergenerational conflict phenomenon caused by the mate selection in a specific rural area.Firstly, the formation of the marital mate and even the intermarriage mode is mainly driven by the population movement, and gradually becomes normalized. In the process,it will face the challenge of touching the parent-child relationship.Secondly,in the rural areas where the economic situation is better, the parents will not distinguish the gender from the educational capital investment of the offspring, which is also the female offspring in the marriage market.More favorable conditions have been created;finally, for the understanding of the intergenerational conflicts of traditional villages, intergenerational conflicts can actively promote the transformation of rural culture, make it more tolerant, and better shape the individuals living in it.The article starts from the offspring(this article specializes in daughters)to carry out such events as off-site mate selection,as a starting point to more explore the intergenerational interaction within rural families;within the family, the behavior of each member as an individual actor The model is also the author's concern;through the pursuitof mate freedom in the offspring,it also pays attention to the power balance between generations in rural areas.
