| The evaluation of teachers is important contents of education evaluation.Effective evaluation of teachers can improve the quality of teaching ,promote teacher's development, it plays an essential role in the development of students.While,it has many shortages in our present teacher evaluation system ,and even blocks to carry on Chinese education reform seriously. So how to change the teacher evaluation system has been an important task in the fundamental theory research of education evaluation. In resent years,the teacher evaluation has obtained much attention in the U.K. There are of great significance to the Chinese teacher evaluation reform for studying the U.K teacher evaluation reform.We can absorb the success experiences by comparison.In 21 century, a new evaluation system has been put forward by the U.K government for education reform and the improvement of teachers. In order to enlighten the evaluation of teacher in China,this paper tends to interpret this new evaluation system from these aspects:backgrounds,contents,current situations,main traits,trends.In this article,the author made a thorough analysis of performance management teacher evaluation system. The author proposed several worthy suggestions in view of the problems exist in our actual teacher evaluation system of elementary education. We should set up a rational evaluation system to improve the quality of teaching ,promote teacher's development. |
