With the curriculum reform continuously deepening, many problems on the teacher evaluation appear gradually, and become the obstacles preventing the reform form going deep. The senior school teachers are important to smoothly develop curriculum reform, and it has become the perspective research topic that how to effectively appraise the senior school teacher’s competence to promote teachers’ quality and to satisfy the self-growth demand of senior school teachers.Teacher evaluation is a kind of process, which judges the value of teacher quality, teacher activities, teaching results and other aspects of teaching. Whether summative assessment, or the development of evaluation, should offer services to upgrade the quality of education and the promotion of teacher professional development. Then, the significance of teachers evaluates lies in:Teacher evaluation is a powerful tool for judged teachers’performance; it is an effective method to improve the quality of teachers and to promote teacher development; it is a more important means to achieve teachers’scientific management throughout. Then it is clear that how greatly urgent and important the teacher evaluation is for the new curriculum reform.There are two popular teacher evaluation theories in the field of education in the present day:one is Traditional Evaluation at Reward and Punishment another is Developmental Evaluation. Based on the research and consideration of the current system of teacher evaluation in F senior school, and points out the current problems in the F senior school on teacher evaluation, this article puts forward the idea of Performance Management into Teacher Evaluation.Performance Management is very popular in modem enterprises and works fine. At the same time, the Performance Management in the senior school is belonged to the Performance Examine phase. In other word, it attends on the collecting and appraisal of the teachers’ performances and abilities. It is not promoted the performance of the teachers and universities effectively to a high level and enhance together.In this paper, we will try to introduce the Enterprise Performance Management Theory into the evaluation system of the senior school. Especially, we will like to apply some methods of Enterprise Performance Management, such as 360-degree feedback. We will import some theories of Developmental evaluation and integrate the characteristic of the senior school to build a feasible Performance Management system. According to this system, we can use new teachers Performance Management to replace the old one which only considers the appraisal of teachers’ performances.Based on the previous study, this dissertation probes into the following three parts:1. After analyzing the definitions of teacher evaluation and comparing the theories of performance management with teacher evaluation in the senior school, the shortage of the theory of teacher evaluation and the advantage of performance management theory can be realized.2. Through comparison, the dissertation finds that it is necessary to introduce performance management theory into teacher evaluation and designs the framework for performance management in the senior school.3. A case study was done on performance management problem of F senior school in Shanghai, which finds out the contribution of performance management in the senior school and tries to solve the problems of teacher evaluation management. The dissertation brings up the correct process of performance management and provides some advisable opinions for performance management in the senior school.
