The problem I am trying to solve in this paper is how the social status is passed on to the son generation from the fathers. The paper is based on the data collected from the famous village in Shandong province called Xiwang which is a very rich village abounds with quoted companies. The data collected is about the changes of the villagers' marriage, education and profession of the passed three generations which separately experienced the poverty and wealth of the village. The breach of the research start with the increasing endogamy rate in the village. Then the paper explored how the resources distributed around the staff of the family companies. The approach I adopt to solve the problem is quantitative analysis along with qualitative analysis. The researcher set two reference groups to show the difference of Xiwang village. The results obtained in this research include that the fortune of the Xiwang group is inherited through man in the village. The village governs people through welfare which is attached on the household register. The capital exchange through education, marriage and profession in order to find the balance of the various resources and promote the total property. The household register is high relevant to one's position in the family company, which indeed is related to one's blood ties which tie the Xiwang villagers.Your register hometown nearer to the Xiwang village, the more likelihood you will get the higher position. This theory is call Diversity-orderly Structure from FeiXiaotong. The paper provide the fact that how the economic capital, social capital and cultural capital exchange mutually. This would be a good case of the analysis of social stratification and social mobility.
