Study On The Evaluation Of Anhui Undergraduate Universities' Efficiency Of Running Schools

It is an objective reality that higher educational resources are scarce, from this point of view, a simple expansion of educational resources entrance, after all, is not a sustainable development project, and if the existing educational resources are well utilized, in fact, increased the availability of educational resources, but the latter seems to be more consistent with the higher education of scientific development, so this research is of significance.Evaluation institutional resource use efficiency is important for improving competition and development among higher education institutions in China. Such evaluation is also a way to understand and solve resource shortage and raise resource use efficiency. Faced with thousands of colleges and universities in the country, their history, environment, location and characteristics and so on are different. In order to be more targeted and convincing, this paper only analyzes 27 undergraduate colleges and universities in Anhui Province, enhance practical guiding significance. Get a clear understanding of their actual situation and found the advantages of their own, discover wasted resources and utilize them more rationally.This paper is divided into five parts:Part I: the first part is foreword of the full text, namely, the first chapter is the introduction, in which put forward the problem that the thesis should be studied, current situation and significance of research, as well as ideas and methods.Part II: give a brief introduction of data envelopment analysis (DEA) and its basic theory together with commonly used models.Part III: First of all, the paper analyse the input and output of running higher education. Then, clarify some common characteristics based on the current status of 27 undergraduate colleges and universities in Anhui Province; indicate its feasibility to study their input and output efficiency analysis. At last, give the evaluation index system, select and collect raw data. Part IV: use DEAP software, select the DEA method of CCR model and BCC model to calculate the technical efficiency of all colleges and universities, together with pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Then give qualitative analysis based on the calculating results. In order to help colleges and universities to enhance the low efficiency, combining DEA projection theory with DEAP software, calculate the targeted value, which should be of benefit to decision-making.Part V: summarize the results of research and research value, expound the paper's shortcomings and its improve direction.
