With the further development of the curriculum reform in the elementary education in our country , an increasing amount of fresh vitality is being poured into school education. Meanwhile, it is also promoting the further reform in Chinese teaching. Classroom teaching is not only the basic form ofschool education, but also the most important part of the curriculum reform . Strengthening the efficiency of classroom teaching is a vital guarantee of successful curriculum reform as well as the basic mission of development of school education reform. Therefore , in the case to carry out quality-oriented education aiming at the promotion of each student's advancement and sustainable development, teachers must update their teaching awareness, change their teaching methods, optimize their teaching structure and improve the efficiency of classroom teaching to enhance the students' quality in Chinese and fully realize the educating function of Chinese teaching .This paper attempts to attach the importance on effective reading in Chinese teaching and apply the concept effective teaching to exploring effective reading strategies in Chinese classrooms. Concretely speaking, firstly, reflect the phenomenon time-consuming but inefficiencies in teaching reading to collect various disadvantages. Next, analyze the characteristics of effective examples in theory . Then put forward some effective strategies to adapt to the students' mentality and improve the students' reading ability. The strategies referred to here include : separate teaching and individualized instruction, effectiveinteractive activities, selections of reading strategies available, motivation of students' emotions from Chinese-learning.
