With the proposing and developing of effective teaching in China, the concept ofChinese effective reading teaching is then proposed, which is good for the thinking andintrospecting about the problems existed in Chinese reading teaching, also providing ideasto construct the new mode of Chinese effective reading teaching for junior middle school.With reading teaching as the start point of the study, and using the concept of “effectiveteaching”, this thesis explored approaches of effective reading teaching.This thesis has three parts, the first part included overviews of reading teaching andeffective reading teaching. It talked about the value and position of reading teaching inChinese course firstly; then explained the present situation and causes of reading teachingin current junior middle school; at last expounded the significance of effective readingteaching being proposed.The second part discussed the characteristics and requirements about Chineseeffective reading teaching for junior middle school. The writer expounded thecharacteristics of effective reading teaching from three dimensions and three angles such asharmony and integration、combination of feeling and experience、balance of presuppositionand generation; then explained the requirements of effective reading teaching from thegrowth and development of teachers and students.In the third part, the writer combined some cases and personal teaching practice toexplore approaches which can implement Chinese effective reading teaching for juniormiddle school, this is the key point of this thesis. These approaches include developinggood reading habits、making full use of reading resources、trying personalized reading、giving full play to teachers’leading role and so on.
