| Innovation is the inexhaustible motive force for the prosperity of china as well asthe soul of a nation's progress. It is stressed in a series of major principles and policieswith regard to education in the 17th Congress of the CPC that the level of all people'seducation and the cultivation level of innovative talents should be markedly improved.The principle of respecting of the labor, the knowledge, the talent and the creativitymust be carried through [1]. The cultivation of innovative talents is a new requirement inChina's educational reform and development. With the higher education marching fromelite education to mass education, only by adopting the talent's cultivation modeadaptable to the development of our country's economy and society, can colleges anduniversities, which is responsible for the train and bring up of high-quality innovativetalents, provide full-developed college talents for building an innovative country and acomprehensively well-off society.A good external environment is needed for the cultivation of innovative talentsAesthetic education enables people to maintain their mental balance, harmony andhealth with a forward-thinking, with their emotions and tastes being motivated, purifiedand sublimated and with their thinking and ideas being subtly influenced. The use ofaesthetic education can serve the students aesthetic ends by inducing them to theaesthetic tastes, enlightening them to think creatively and fostering their interest inlearning. Based on the core of aesthetic education--aesthetic ideal education, thecontemporary college students'aesthetic ideal situation is analyzed in this paper afteron-the-spot research in Shaanxi's five colleges and universities. The special significanceof aesthetic ideal education to the cultivation of students'innovation is actively explored;the ways to implementing innovative training mode under aesthetic ideal education issummarized by comparing this mode with the traditional training mode.
