The global financial crisis triggered by the U.S. sub-prime crisis, has impacted profound influences on world higher education. In China, the rapid development of higher education, continuing university enrollment, coupled with the impact of this financial crisis, so that graduates' employment problem has become a hot spots of community's concern.In this context, if the full employment of university graduates can not be achieved, and deal with the graduate unemployment problem, it will affect the sustainable development of China's higher education, and is likely to result in China's social stability and development of adverse effects. Therefore, the study about the advanced developed countries'policy which initiatives to promote employment of university students under the background of the financial crisis have great values. We can learn the successful experience from the advanced developed countries and draw lessons to guide Chinese university students. It will be help to promote full employment, formulate short-term emergency strategies and long-term institution-building.In times of financial crisis, the United States up to the federal government, down to the private professional employment website, have taken numerous initiatives that aim to promote full employment of university graduates. To start recovery and reinvestment Act, put huge investment into highway, railway construction, school renovation and other basic industries, retain, create jobs, to increase employment opportunities; implement public service projects, Widely publicized "Teach for America" to attract outstanding students from the graduate, vigorously pursued "ROTC," recruit high-quality personnel for the army, to expand the scope of employment; implement a series of internships or training programs, such as Planning for 2009 Summer Youth Activities, the High Growth Job Training Initiative, President's Community-Based Job Training Grants Initiative, YouthBuild USA 2009, in order to upgrade graduates' skills and enhance their employment opportunities; start new higher education opportunities Act, require higher education institutions must publicly announce tuition fees, increase the amount of student loans, to increase the opportunities of university graduates to receive higher levels of education and reduce the employment pressure. These bills, programs, projects have implemented, it have played a significant role in promoting employment to all graduates of American universities.There are four parts of the full text. First introduce the situation that U.S. higher education under current international financial crisis, especially for college students employment; second discuss the U.S. policies to promote employment of university graduates responses to the current international financial crisis, take some typical cases for example; and then expound these policies' effectiveness from three aspects; finally set forth the enlightenment that promote university graduates employment from the U.S. policies response to the current international financial crisis.
