Survey And Analysis On Employment Prospects Of The Students In Agricultural College

In this study, as an example of the students in an agricultural university, we made an investigation among students on campus, students employed, employers and the university mentioned above. To accomplish this investigation, we made full use of the approach of random sampling according to a certain percentage. Besides we analyzed the research results through the SPSS statistical analysis software, and made correlation analysis about the employment preferences of the students on campus, influencing factors and occupational expectations by the use of frequency analysis, cross-analysis, comparable analysis, correlation analysis and several other data analysis methods. What's more, we have made a research for the college students' employment situation, development situation and the correlation about the major and the occupation. Thus we can draw a discussion about attitudes of the agricultural occupation and the employers referring to agriculture to the employed agricultural students and the need for the students' arrangement, standard and style through the comparison of two survey studies. At the same time, we have made a classical analysis about cases from an employment market of an agriculture university, which has formed the character of agriculture occupations.On the basis of the data processing, we came to the conclusion about the factors affecting the employment prospects of the agricultural students that employment attitude of the students is so comparative mature that they can adjust their expectations according to employment situation. But to the general families, especially to the rural families, when mentioned with the theory of returning investment, the graduates cannot accept the reality that they will get lower rewards in the agriculture occupation than other industries, because the monthly pay expectations are still high, and the students choose the units with more benefits and better working conditions. The situation is altering. Not only are agricultural students changing the attitude to the units with poor conditions, but also preferring to choose the private enterprises because of the diversification of the employing units, especially in the day when private units play a leading role. Under the situation of higher employing rate than the whole country, the university has build up an employment market with the feature of agriculture, but there are still some shortcomings about the unfair competition, asymmetric employment Information, the delaying and the non-standard of the employment system.Therefore, with reference to the free tuition system for the teachers-colleges students, proposed by the Ministry of Education, we may also put out the progressive introduction of free tuition policy for agricultural college students; besides agro-industry and agro-related employment market, formed by the Agricultural University, should develop in diversify in order to realize the fullness and network of the human resources development for agricultural college students, what's more, under the guidance of the national agricultural macroeconomic policies, agricultural university ought to take the initiative to meet the need of the state and the socialist new countryside construction, and with the help of the regulation and feedback from the agricultural job market mechanisms of the student employment, agricultural university should try to improve the quality of education for employment competitiveness from all aspects, which can provide the university students with much better prospects.We can do further research about the different types students in width and depth. And in the cracking study of the problem of employment for agricultural college students, there is some breakthrough in the strategies innovation. In the mean time, we have brought out some questions to do more research and discussion.
