Scholars in the west have begun to study teacher-student interaction since the 1970's. On the basis of many researches into parent-child interaction and peer interaction, Chinese scholars are paying an increasing attention to important significance of children education since late 1980's and early 1980's. Teacher-student interaction has become a hot subject in the field of researching for more and more scholars. Class implementation suggestion for"The Ordinary High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard (Experiment)", promulgated in April 2003, clearly stated that mathematics teaching is the teaching of mathematical activities, and the process of interactive communication and common development between teachers and students, between students and students. Mathematics teaching is the common unification of interactive activity process between teachers'teaching and students'learning. Mathematics teaching may effectively be able to realize by teacher-student interaction. Mathematics classroom of middle school is the main position and place of high school mathematics teaching. Teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school is main research contents in the paper. The author thinks that research on teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school has great significance and value to effectively improve high school mathematics teaching.For research thoughts and methods, the author firstly carefully read up documents and materials at home and abroad, then sorted, summed and analyzed. So the author grasped the study history and theory of teacher-student interaction to some extent. And then went deep into mathematics classroom of middle school and got a vivid and true record of student performance in natural state by field observation of classroom teaching. Finally, by questionnaire and interview, the author comprehensively and objectively mastered the true situation of teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school.Through a series of investigation, firstly, it is found that the present situation of teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school is, teacher-student interaction has already come into mathematics classroom of middle school; teacher-student relationship influences teacher-student interaction; teacher-student interaction includes cognitive interaction, emotional interaction and personality interaction. Secondly, the existing problems of teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school are, the consciousness of teacher-student interaction is obscure; there exist alienation, falsehood and formalization in teacher-student interaction, mainly manifested as performing, monopoly and indulgence; and there also exists the inequality of opportunity in teacher-student interaction. At last, according to the present situation and the existing problems of teacher-student interaction, effective strategies are put forward to improve teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school in the theory and the practice level. The strategies in the theory level are to renew educational concept, create democratic and equal relationship of teachers and students, and establish a scientific and reasonable teaching evaluation view. The strategies in the practice level are to use communication-interaction teaching mode more frequently; create good teaching environment, including physical environment and psychological environment; strengthen teacher training; enhance teacher quality, including comprehensively improve teacher's belief, professional knowledge and self-development consciousness; attach importance to improve humanistic quality of teachers; enhance the training effect of teacher's teaching techniques and skills. Finally, in this paper, research is studied about improving level of teacher-student interaction in the mathematics classroom of middle school in aspect of preparation for classroom teaching, performance and reflection.
