General high school education, based on the nine years compulsory education, is the popular basic education to improve the quality of the nation. It is also viewed as an essential stage for students to lay a solid foundation for their comprehensive and lifelong development. Since China entered a new stage of general high school curriculum reform, the evaluation on students' academic level has become the focus of people' s attention. The Outline of Elementary Education Curriculum Reform (tryout) explicitly puts forward the goal of the reform-to transform the function of the current curriculum evaluation system that overemphasizes distinction and selection and to bring into full play the function of evaluation as a stimulus of the growth of students, the development of teachers and the improvement of teaching practice. Whereas, it' s a great pity that many schools don' t make full use of the precious resources, the data of student achievement.Based on the high school' s reality, the paper focuses on the classification and analysis of student academic achievements in the following methods: Placement Evaluation, Formative Evaluation, Summative Evaluation and Diagnostic Evaluation. In the paper, Multivariate Statistical Analysis is applied to analysis students Placement Evaluation scores, which provides basis for further evaluation. All students' achievement data in every test is made full use of to track and analysis students' growth course. Together with the advantage of the small-size class management model, students are guided to self evaluate their achievements, look for effective and efficient learning methods, and form good learning psychological quality. As for Summative Evaluation, Rank Function is used to help analysis students' comprehensive academic development and select courses. With EXCEL template working unit, teachers find it convenient to collect students feedback information after Diagnostic Evaluation , adjust their teaching targets and strategies for high efficiency according to the students' practical situation.All in all, general high school students' academic analysis can help schools effectively monitor the teaching quality and objectively evaluate students' learning and teachers' teaching.
