The kindergarten-family partnership is the kind of educational cooperative partnership, which is between the kindergarten and the family, and between the teacher and the parents during the period of parent involvement. The kindergarten-family partnership emphasizes the parent involvement and the cooperation between the kindergarten and the family. Based on the respect, the trust, the communication, and the negotiation, the kindergarten-family partnership having the common objective and the sense of worth, aims to build a bidirectional interactive relationship for the better development of the children.By making researches on it, the author explores its characteristics of the partnership and of "the kindergarten-family partnership" , analyses its causes of success and influencing factors, and offers some proposals about ways and tactics for building "the kindergarten-family partnership" , which can enrich the theory and the meaning of "the kindergarten-family partnership" , which can offer the plan of its operation in the practice, and which can promote development of teachers, parents and children. All these set the stage for the theory and the practical research of "the kindergarten-family partnership" .The thesis summarizes the relevant literature by both Chinese and the foreign scholars on the theme of "the kindergarten-family partnership" , assesses its advantages and disadvantages, and interprets its enlightenment for this study. And this thesis introduces the theory of ecology and the theory of family involvement, which is a very important base to study systematically "the kindergarten-family partnership" .(1) The systematic study of the "kindergarten-family partnership" is including the perspectives of the teachers and the parents, the tentative design of the curriculum, and the thinking of the risks.(2) On the basis of the theory and the previous systematic empirical study, the author gives the framework of building "the kindergarten-family partnership" . The thesis makes some viable suggestions for the teacher education of the normal university, and for the teacher training of the kindergarten. These suggestions aim at putting together the power of education and the family cooperatively to better service the development of the children.In this thesis, there are some creativities and the limitations of the research. Hence, the author plans to solve a few difficult problems in the future to research.
