Research On The Professional Ethics Construction Of College Teachers

"Education plans, teacher-oriented", teachers in the colleges and universities are not only the holder of knowledge, but also the important disseminator and creator. Their professional and ethical standards directly affect whether the national higher education can successfully train the innovative, high-level students for the country. Therefore, to strengthen the building of professional ethics of teachers is an important research topic for the current development of China's higher education and the teachers' construction.Firstly, the paper reviewed the related researches on professional ethics of teachers at home and abroad.Secondly, with questionnaire, specific interviews, the positive analysis, summery and other research methods, the paper systematically expounded the basic theory, the nature, the elements and principles on professional ethics construction of the college teachers; using of Marxist philosophy of combining theory with practice, the paper analyzed and researched the current state, the problems, the reasons of professional ethics construction in China's higher education.The results show that at present the mainstream of professional ethics in Chinese Universities and the overall situation is relatively good, but a few of the teachers take working seriously but not thinking about it, take teaching seriously but not cultivating, taking research serious but not teaching. The main reason is that the new educational philosophy and target, the rapid expansion of higher education, a socialist market economy system, the system of the professional ethic building affect professional ethics of teachers after China's entering into the period of synthetic, lifelong, modernization, international and information higher education. A new round of conflict between the building of professional ethics of teachers and new forms of education appeared.Thus, the paper proposed the specific measures to solve those problems on construction of teachers' professional ethics under the current situation:(1) To enhance the self-cultivated teachers' professional ethics to raise their personality charm, to experience their professional satisfaction and happiness to moralize their realm of sublimation. (2) To build a good atmosphere for the professional ethics in order to create a harmonious social environment of respecting teachers and teaching students.(3) To offer an effective approach to build a long-term system of ethics in the colleges and universities; to put forward a concrete and effective way to institutionalize and standardize the constructing of professional ethics.
