Study On The Construction Of Professional Ethics Of Teachers Of Ideological And Political Theory Course In Western Yunnan

The professional ethics of ideological and political teachers is an important part of the professional ethics of teachers,which is not only required by the general professional ethics of teachers,but also different from the general professional ethics of teachers,that is to say,ideological and political teachers’ professional ethics in the new era should be firm in belief,devoted to educating people,broad in knowledge,profound in love with teachers and noble in personality.The professional ethics of ideological and political teachers is political,demonstrative and oriented.On the basis of following the General Professional Ethics of teachers in colleges and universities,the six requirements put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping,namely,"strong politics,deep feelings,broad vision,new thinking,strict self-discipline and correct personality",are the special requirements for ideological and political teachers to be "virtuous".The teachers of ideological and Political Education are the believers and learners of Marxism,the speakers of the party’s line,principles and policies,the researchers of philosophy and social sciences,and the guides for the healthy growth of college students.Strengthening the construction of professional ethics of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities in West Yunnan is of great significance for the schools to adhere to the direction of socialist education,carry out the basic task of establishing moral and cultivating people in colleges and universities,strengthen the construction of spiritual civilization in schools,promote their all-round development and moral cultivation,guide college students to set up correct world outlook,outlook on life,and guide their values,and guarantee the national unity and ideological security in West Yunnan.This research carries on the questionnaire investigation and the interview investigation to the partial ideological and political course teacher and the student in the western Yunnan area,through a comprehensive investigation of the ideological and political course teachers’ political and theoretical qualities and their belief in Marxism,their devotion to their posts,their teaching and educating people,their love for teachers,their work discipline,and their demonstration of teachers,this paper analyzes the current situation of the professional ethics of the ideological and political course teachers,the professional ethics of the ideological and political course teachers is generally good at present,and they are respected and recognized by the students,but some ideological and political course teachers have a serious tendency of UTILITARIANISM,are tired of their own jobs,and their teachers’ love feelings need to be strengthened,the idea of educating people is out of step with the effect of educating people;in the process of building professional ethics,there are some problems such as the lag of system norm,the lack of long-term effective mechanism,and the insufficient education and practice of professional ethics,we should also attach importance to the construction of professional ethics of ideological and political teachers.The Western Yunnan region has a large number of ethnic groups,complex religious beliefs,relatively backward economic development and educational level,and a low level of social development,affected by the development of information society and market economy,the infiltration of Western unhealthy values,the construction of campus culture,and the neglect of some teachers’ own moral cultivation,etc.,has influenced the construction of the professional ethics of the ideological and political teachers in West Yunnan Universities.Finally,this paper is problem-oriented,to realize the unity of self-discipline and heteronomy in the construction of the professional ethics of ideological and political teachers from four aspects: to create a good environment for the construction of the professional ethics of ideological and political teachers,to innovate the construction of the standardization of the professional ethics of ideological and political teachers,to improve the moral self-cultivation of ideological and political teachers,and to construct a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,to improve the professional ethics of ideological and political course teachers,improve the development of ideological and political course teachers,make ideological and political course teachers better play the role of teacher demonstration,really become a guide for the healthy growth of college students.
