A Study On Personality Disorder In Juvenile Crime Prevention And Correction

After carrying out the reform and opening-up policy, China implemented flexible economic policies and its national economy developed rapidly. But there appears a series of social problems due to the imperfectness of social system in some fields, such as juvenile crime. Juveniles are the future of our country and the hope of our nation, however, the increase in juvenile crime has seriously threatened social stability and family peace, and it becomes one of the disharmonious factors in the process of constructing a harmonious society. Therefore, guaranteeing teenagers'healthy growth, preventing and reducing juvenile crime have great social significance and important value of justice.Involving sociology, psychology, law and other fields, this paper mainly studies personality disorder in juvenile crime prevention and correction. At the beginning, the paper gives an overview of the origin, definition and basic features of personality, which lay a solid theoretical foundation for this paper. Then this paper puts personality under the special research background—juvenile crime and studies the relativity between the two by illustrating and analyzing the typical types of personality disorder; it also deeply analyzes the reasons of juvenile disorder from the perspectives of heredity, biology, family, school and society, which provides the practical and theoretical bases for the comprehensive prevention of juvenile disorder for the trinity of family, school and society. Meanwhile, the paper borrows some therapeutic methods from psychology. In summery, the ultimate purpose and value of this paper is to prevent and reduce juvenile crime by preventing and correcting juvenile personality disorder.
