Folk handicrafts are plastic arts made by our Chinese Ordinary people to meet needs to live and aesthetic requirements. They are made by using locally available materials. They have both material and spiritual properties. They not only contribute to Chinese people's material life, but also enter into their spiritual life, that's, produce an important influence on their values, aesthetics, beliefs and morals. AS part of excellent folk culture handicrafts are the symbols of our traditional culture. The handicrafts reflect the idea that Chinese people are interested in nature and integrate with natural things, which is identical to children spirit. Therefore, it is necessary and practicable to involve folk handicrafts in present kindergarten curriculum system.The research is based on quality and quantity approaches, theoretically deals with the significance of Involvement folk handicrafts in kindergarten curriculum, and discusses its implementation scheme in practice. It mainly includes:First, the research paper deals with importance of folk handicrafts in our traditional culture in terms of relative theories from anthropology, culture, education and psychology. An analysis is made on the intrinsic link between the idea for making handicrafts and children spirit. What's more, the dissertation discusses the significance of Involvement folk handicrafts in kindergarten courses. To be more exact, the involvement is the important ways to keep our excellent culture exist long and develop the children's national identity. In the meanwhile, folk handicrafts have special influence on children's DIY ability, aesthetics, national character, scientific attitude and so on. Involving folk handicrafts in our daily life, the advantages, like combination of science and arts, can be shown in the kindergarten. This provides the theoretical basis for the following research.Second, the children's behaviors and features are showed through observation and reflection when they are introduced to folk handicrafts. The paper also make clear the current situation of activities in the kindergarten and also take the teachers'advice to make the implementation plan for involving Chinese folk handicrafts in kindergarten curriculum. The plan includes setting the goal, selecting and organizing the contents, conducting activities, and evaluation and the likeFinally, the author put forward several ideas:understanding and involvement are effective ways to realize the educational value of folk handicrafts; Emphasis is placed on form rather than cultural connotations in kindergarten activities, so it is essentially important to make theoretical research and give guidance in practice; Much importance should be attached to enhancing kindergarten teachers'folk culture appreciations.
