The Development Status Of College Orienteering Of Ji Lin Province

Practice quality-oriented education widely is an important subject of physical education at school .orienteerring is a fashion sport which collecet physical and intelligence together ,it not only cultivating indepence thinking and slove problems ability , but also it has a make a decision ability when physical and intelligentce are under pressures.In 2003"The common higher education physical education undergraduate course scheme"was promulgated by ministry of education ,orienteering was make as one of required course of technology management in track and field kind curriculum in Common higher education physucal education undergraduate course (track and field kind curriculum inculuding orienteering, Ranger or Druid has tracking skills subject and so on ).With the support of State policy ,Orienteering was developed in major physical college and universities ,higher physical schools take responsibility of finding outstanding orienteering teachers .In the recent years ,orienteering skills of Jilin province once rank top ,at the same time ,lot of students particaipated into the sports , but the whole directional cross-country universities in jilin province level presents unbalanced, Some college students even never heard oriented before .Through the literature material law, on-the-spot investigation method, mathematical statistics method, expert interview and case investigation, logical analysis and other methods, aiming at universities in jilin province, and choose 13 orienteering teachers and 300 students in 25 universities as the research object, in terms of teaching , analysed and compare with the school curriculum, jilin university teachers and students of directional , orienteering attitudes, facilities, the use of teaching materials, policy and funds, training and competition, and other organizations, universities of directional compare with hunan, policy support, training and competition situation, capital investment, etc.and a comparative study of jilin province, find out deficiencies and advantages in orienteering projects.The fllowing is some conclusions which got from the above research. Jilin orienteering is still low in popularity in colleges and universities ,most of people who engaged in orienteering are military.II,Jilin orienteering teachers research ability is not strong in the whole project , few teachers attended training personnel. The survey on students' attitudes to orienteering attitude .Most of them just only show that they are interested in the project.III,Personnel training and competition, material conditions, attention and managerial are the main factors to influence on the development of jilin orienteering .IV,Jilin orienteering has a big developement potential ,because ,contact the project earlier than other cities ,pretty natural site conditions , has many international exchange experience PWT (world park orienteering organzing).The above contermeasures and suggestions was put forward ,hope can support the developement of Jilin orienteering .
