Research On The Factors Influencing The Development Of The CUBA Best Players' Entering Into CBA And Its Countermeasures

The organizational system of sports team has always been the main method to cultivate competitive sports talents in China, which has cultivated lots of excellent basketball players and made great contribution to the development of the reserved talents for China. However, under the circumstance that the mind of the combination of competitive sports and education has permeated the people, the traditional sports team model cannot satisfy the requirements of the competitive sports'development. As a result, both the competitive sports system and the educational system are now trying its best to seek the linkage of each other, so as to convert the situation of the separation of the competitive sports and education. China University Basketball Association (CUBA) has become the battle position of the combination. It has trained several basketball talents for the clubs of China Basketball Association (CBA) since its naissance in 1998. However, there are many factors influencing the conveying of CUBA players, which makes it not become the main channel to provide basketball talents for CBA.On the basis of reading a large amount of literatures, this author has summarized several factors affecting the providing of the CUBA players. Moreover, the research method of the questionnaire has been employed to invite some experts to evaluate each factor's importance and present corresponding score. After that, the software SPSS 17.0 has been applied to do the factor analysis in order to find out the main influencing factors as well as their issues and, furthermore, put forward some corresponding countermeasures. This research indicates that:1)CUBA has not accomplished its basketball talents'cultivating goal in its "Strategy of Three-phased Development"; CUBA has equipped the basic requirements to send talents to CBA, but it has such issues as low efficiency, unclear channel for sending, as well as separated cultivating team and so on.2)The main factors influencing CUBA players'entering into CBA are: Competitive Strength Factor, Administrative System Factor, Human Resource Factor, Sending Environment Factor, Reserved Talent Factor and Social Security Factor. Among these factors, the Competitive Strength Factor is the most important factor, and the importance level of these factors is on the decrease from the first one to the last one.3)The main issues in the development of CUBA lie in:poor physical qualification and low competitive level; unreasonable competition format, deficient matches and long-span age limit; low level coaches and referees; unclear channels for expenditure collection and talent sending; inadequate facilities and environment for training; separated situation of competitive sports and education, as well as incomplete cultivating system; less political support for development.4)The main countermeasures are:combine the resources of CUBA, CUBS and CBA Junior Team, and perform systematic management; establish clear competition format, accelerate the reform process; elevate the operational level of coaches and referees, build strict employing regulations; strengthen marketization and broaden expenditure channel; solute the contradiction between sports training and study; improve the reserved talents'cultivating system; improve social security system, solute the problem of employment after retire.
