Objective:Using multivariate generalizability theory in multi-group studies to reveal the nature of the problem of quality mathematical papers in entrance examination; validation multivariate generalizability theory the feasibility in analyzing and improving the quality of entrance examination papers in mathematics.Method:The use of multi-group analysis of multivariate generalizability theory to analysis reliability; the use of multivariate generalizability theory and multi-trait-multi-method matrix, Canonical coefficients, EQS to strike a factor loadings and improve Subjective Objective Questions to analysis validity; the use of classical measurement theory and multivariate generalizability theory to analysis ietm difficulty; the use of item response theory and multivariate generalizability theory to analysis item differentiation.Result:Reliability, the higher Mathematics Literacy Group, to subjective questions, even if difficulty questions to reach the maximum capacity of 6 while the problems of medium difficulty questions of capacity 0, the synthesis of generalizability coefficient is also just hit 0.45 level; to objective questions, even if the medium distinguish reach the maximum capacity of 7 while high distinguish capacity 0, the synthesis of generalizability coefficients are unable to reach 0.25 level.Validity, to subjective questions, if the D study has the sample size as G study, the maximum synthesis of generalizability coefficient (construct validity) is 0.81490; to objective questions, if the D study has the sample size as G study, the maximum synthesis of generalizability coefficient (construct validity) is 0.59970, the ideal synthesis of generalizability coefficient is 0.54183. Difficulty and differentiation, the difficulty questions (difficulty coefficient is less than 0.2) to give a high generalizability coefficient in higher mathematics literacy group while leaving low-mathematical literacy group is low generalizability coefficient; for the college entrance examination in terms of mathematics, high differentiation on the selection of a high degree of mathematical literacy is detrimental to the candidates, the best should be a medium differentiation (0.7
