| After experiencing the impact of western culture, Chinese traditional festival is becoming revival by the Government's support and people's concern. Meanwhile, as a educator, who should do something for the cultural continuity of traditional festivals. Children are the important successor about Chinese traditional festival culture, so the educator should help children to learn Chinese traditional festival culture. The author try to do research on the value of Chinese traditional festival culture for the children's art education, in order to improve the attention about the value of Chinese traditional festival culture and explore the application value for the children's art education.The research using literature and data, interview and observation methods, searches and studies the value of Chinese traditional festival culture for children's art education, to broad teachers'horizon. The research is divided into four parts:1. Introduction. This part includes the reason about the research, the definition of related concepts, research significance, research methods, the research programs at home and abroad. Through analyzing the material, the author found that at present the research on the value of the value of Chinese traditional festival culture for arts education for young children is relatively scarce.2. Exploring the relationships. To make clear the relationships among the value of Chinese traditional festival culture, children and art education.
