A Study On Enhancing College Students' Cultural Confidence With Traditional Festivals

Traditional festivals,as a component and an important carrier of traditional Chinese culture,are of great significance in demonstrating Chinese excellent traditional culture charm,inheriting the spirit of Chinese excellent traditional culture and condensing the consensus of Chinese excellent traditional culture.It is helpful to deepen the research of ideological and political education theory,and to dig out the methods and carriers of firm cultural self-confidence.It helps college students to firmly realize the ideals and beliefs of the Chinese Dream,correctly understand traditional culture,and enhance cultural awareness.The paper has three parts:The first part is an overview of traditional Chinese festival culture and cultural confidence.On the basis of clarifying the concept of Chinese traditional festival culture and cultural self-confidence,the relationship between them is sorted out.It emphasizes the necessity and advantages of using traditional Chinese festival culture to enhance the cultural confidence of college students.The second part is the current situation of enhancing the cultural self-confidence of college students with traditional festivals as the carrier.Taking traditional festivals as the carrier to enhance the cultural self-confidence of college students has made obvious achievements,but also faces several difficulties: college students have low cognition and confidence in the content of traditional festival culture;weak emotional involvement and participation in traditional festival cultural activities;the relevant departments of colleges and universities have little research and development on the cultural confidence function of traditional festivals.Campus activities with the theme of taking traditional festivals as the carrier to enhance cultural self-confidence have a single practice form and a small activity scope.The reasons are: the loss of the traditional festival cultural connotation;the dual impact of western culture and historical nihilism;the lack of communication channels for the transmission of traditional festival culture in colleges and universities;the week influence oftraditional festival culture in family education.The third part is how to promoting traditional festival culture to enhance the cultural confidence of college students.The government should play a leading role in inheriting and promoting traditional festival culture.The government should guide various resources,carry out relevant policies to promote and protect the traditional festival culture,improve the status of the traditional festival culture,guide the whole society and increase the whole society's emphasis on traditional festivals,and lay the foundation for enhancing the cultural confidence of college students.Colleges and universities should play a major role in inheriting traditional festival culture.In order to improve the students' self-knowledge and awareness of traditional festivals,colleges and universities should attach great importance to the education of traditional festivals and cultures.In order to enhance the cultural self-confidence of college students,the family should play the basic role of inheriting traditional festival culture,deepen the emotional identity of college students through family education,and provide the basis and guarantee for enhancing the cultural self-confidence of college students.Finally,the university students themselves should fully understand the traditional festival culture and form the cultural consciousness to achieve the purpose of enhancing cultural self-confidence.
