Study On Formulating University Development Planning In Our Country

The 21st century is full of change and hope, our university is facing unprecedented development opportunities, how to seize opportunities formulate planing which based on national and scholastic conditions, but also follow closely the trend of world development, has become the effective way for the university achieve leapfrog development.Along with the continuous expansion and implementation of autonomy in running university, Formulate development planning is not just the inevitable trend of universities development, but also an inevitable requirement of state and government.So, how can formulate a scientific and reasonable planing is urgently needed to resolve the various universities.The planning of university development in China began in the mid 80s of the 20th century.Relative to the United States and Britain and other countries, started late and is currently at the exploratory stage, the theoretical basis is relatively weak, in the formulation of planning personnel, institutions, procedures, content and so on not mature, system is not perfect, these are not conducive to carrying out University Development Planing.This paper defines the associated concept of University Development Planing, and investigate the concept of formulating university development planning. On this basis, elaborate the significance,the guidelines,principles,methods,basic procedures,basic content, and history of university development planning.To the United States of Stanford University and Carnegie Meilong University, Imperial College and the University of Sydney as a case, Introduc the state of foreign famous universities'development planning, summarize the features of the foreign famous universities and the Enlightenment for our national universities Development Planing. Finally, the paper analyzed the main problems of University Development Planing of and aim at these problems, put forward the constructive proposals.
