A Study On The Encouragement Education Of College And University Students From Needy Families

With the increasing number of students from needy families, the problems of education and development are increasingly pop out. Generally, most of colleges and universities adopt psychological counseling and financial supporting, but they cannot solve the fundamental problems of education and development. How to strengthen encouragement education of the students from needy families, arouse their self education and development impetus is an issue worth educators' thinking and exploring.There still exist some problems with the encouragement education of college students from needy family, such as financial supporting overweighing encouragement education; contents of education deviating from students' practical experience; teaching methods lacking diversity, etc., which is largely affected by the imperfect educational system, educators' misunderstanding and the lagging of effects. The lack of encouragement education brings negative influence, leading to fuzzy ideals, weak self-reliance spirit, low psychological health, low comprehensive quality, thus exerting serious impact on the health growth of the students.Therefore, we must strengthen college and university students' encouragement education to make it play a prominent role in education and development of students from needy families. The encouragement education is a systematic work. Firstly, the main task should be made clear:to firm spirit of self-reliance, moral training, improve the comprehensive quality that education pursues as core values. Secondly, the implementing subject should be clarified:teachers, students' managers and psychological consultants should play a positive role. Finally, effective ways must be explored:making classroom teaching play a leading role, combine financial supporting and ideological education, strengthen psychological health education, explore net education, and create proactive college culture. All those are to promote college students from needy families to grow and develop in an all-round way.
