As an effective teaching strategy and learning style, cooperative learning has been widely applied in many countries in the world and be applied in some schools in China since 1990s.One of the goals of national basic education curriculum reform is to transform learning methods, namely, students should learning by independence, exploration and cooperation. Cooperative learning has achieved remarkable achievements and be widely used in teaching practice thanks to curriculum reform. However, with the deepening of the curriculum reform and the gradual promotion of cooperative learning methods, resulting in many problems, which aroused the attention of scholars of the country and from many different angles research to make cooperative learning can be significant performance.On this basis, through Summarizing the theoretical knowledge related to cooperative, literature method, questionnaire survey method, teaching experiment, mathematical statistics, interviews and other research methods, this article explore the cooperative learning'impacting to ordinary high school students on sports participation, attitude toward physical exercise, learning ability of sport.The research object is four classes in Meicun Senior High School of Jiangsu Province. The experimental using cooperative learning methods, the control class using traditional teaching methods, to conduct a 18-week teaching experiment. Through teaching experimental research, will receive large amounts of data through the statistics, collated and analyzed and discussed to verify high school volleyball in the ordinary course in the use of cooperative learning options compared to traditional teaching methods to better improve teaching effectiveness, and better promotion of high school athletic practice the new curriculum reform in depth. The results show that:1,General senior high school volleyball lesson using cooperative learning is feasible and necessary.2, Compared with the control classes the attitude of physical exercise and the consciousness of cooperation of the experimental classes has a greater degree of rising.3, Both the experimental classes and the control classes, the sports learning ability were significantly increased, but the experimental class was significantly higher than the control classes.4, Compared with the control classes, the experimental class performance have more significant improvement.
