Disparity Analysis On Regional Higher Education Input And Output Factors

In recent years, more and more economists and socialists focus on the disparity among different regions.This dissertation focuses on differences of regional higher education input and output factors in the methods and by the indexes planned from the developmental economics for the problem of disparity of economy and society among different regions.Firstly, the literatures reviewing on regional higer education differences have been finished.This dissertation explains the two theoretical foundations——unbalanced development theory and cluster advantage theory and defines the related concepts.Secondly, based on the index system of higher education input and output factors,this dissertation describes and analyzes the conditions about regional differences among municipalities,developed area,middle developed and undeveloped area of higher education input and output factors in 2007 by using the method of differential analysis.Thirdly, this dissertation disscuses the conditions about regional differences of higher education input and output factors in 2007 from the perspective of key areas of domestic——the yangtze river delta and beijing-tianjin-hebei region.At last, based on the research, the dissertation tries to conclude and give suggestions to assolute the problem of narrowing regional disparity towards higher education input and output factors.
