A real problem may have more than one solutions. In the activities of problem-solving process what is the difference between two hypothesis and only one hypothesis involved in discussing and exploring? Can teachers set up some counter-examples to promote the students to explore the process? Knowing about these problems can supply certain ideas of designing Inquiry activities ,and also target to train students in scientific thinking, scientific method and scientific spirit and scientific literacy students to truly.In this study, in the way of clinical interview, using "sugar - iodine" research activities by qualitative analysis, to study the relationship between the number of hypothesis and the quality of Inquiry activities in the course of Junior Three students . What's more, I also study the impact to the students of the teachers taking the initiactive counter-examples.Tests include a hypothesis, independent research and the main test to be tested against cases of active stage show. Attempt to study subjects under different assumptions of how the program design exploration activities, how to treat the experimenter presented the counter-examples, and student evaluation of the use of counter-examples to others several aspects of the hypothesis.Found:13.51% of the students can not make any assumptions, 72.97% of the students propose a hypothesis, 13.51% of the students made two assumptions. The vast majority of subjects were focused on assumptions made on the assumption 1, assumption 2, the total number of 45.95%.
