Classroom Teaching Environment, as a complex system composed of various factors, exerts tremendous influences on cognition, emotion and behavior in the process of students' learning. It is a very important hidden curriculum influencing teaching activities, and it is also an indispensable factor for the healthy development of students' personality. In Tibet, people have their own national cultural background and living environment, and they also have their own unique language and thinking styles. So there should be some unique teaching environment different from those in other regions.Firstly, this paper formulates the constituent elements of classroom teaching environment, and analyzes the evidence and principle of optimizing classroom teaching environment. It also points out what the ideal English classroom teaching environment is. Secondly, Based on present study, the paper investigates and studies the current situation on the environment of English teaching in junior high schools in Tibet by the methods of documentation, questionnaire and talking. It points out the problems existing in the environment of English teaching in junior high schools in Tibet and analyzes the causes, and puts forward the evidence for scientifically controlling and optimizing teaching environment and constructive suggestions for educational administrators and teachers. From the perspective of physical environment, psychological environment and linguistic environment, some basic strategies of optimizing classroom teaching environment are suggested. This paper focuses on how to optimize the psychological environment. And then it analyzes how to establish the exterior security system for English classroom teaching environment in the junior high schools in Tibet. Finally, This paper reflects the acquisition and deficiency of the paper, and also proposes the directions of further efforts in the future.
