As the Chinese traditional sport, Wushu is a bright pearl in nation's long history, with its rich culture and broad-based mass. Colleges and universities provide a fertile ground for the martial arts movements to further enhance the popularity. Teaching of martial arts assumes a vanguard and exemplary role in promoting China's national fitness program and communicating fine Chinese culture. Martial arts in colleges and universities must attach great importance to the reform of teaching in order to develop itself, which is also development requirement of the times given to us. Wushu teachers in colleges and universities have been carrying out a positive change and exploration of Wushu teaching for many years, with enhancing the content and mode of teaching and improving traditional teaching. The implementation and promotion of "Chinese Wushu Ranks System Course" provides a new way of thinking for reform of teaching Wushu combined with Ranks system, establishing a new teaching model, increasing the new content, expanding the teaching method.This paper gives the in-depth investigation and analysis to all aspects of teaching martial arts in Shijiazhuang colleges through the use of documentation, investigation, teaching experiments and mathematical statistical method; at the same time studies the martial arts teaching experiment and analyzes experimental results combined with " Chinese Wushu Ranks System Course " (hereinafter referred to as "the Course"). Through the survey of the martial arts teaching in Shijiazhuang colleges and the analysis of teaching experiments of Ranks system, we can draw the following conclusions: 1. The content of "the Course" will enable students to increase significantly their martial arts abilities and technological level; 2. The content of "the Course" corresponds to students'physical and psychological characteristics and stimulates interests of students; 3. "the Course " enhances the students'knowledge of the martial arts and promotes the extra-curricular integration process; 4. " the Course " meets the needs of Wushu teaching reform in Shijiazhuang colleges; 5. College Teachers in Shijiazhuang can guarantee the development and implementation of teaching reform in the Wushu Ranks system; 6. field and equipments in Shijiazhuang colleges can meet the needs of Wushu teaching reform with the Ranks system.According to the survey and teaching experiments, the paper puts forward a bit of targeted recommendations for Wushu teaching reform with the Ranks system: 1. To do publicity work; 2. To produce a new standardized textbooks of Wushu Ranks System in Shijiazhuang colleges; 3. To Strengthen teachers'training; 4. To enhance integration of training both inside and outside class; 5. To establish the evaluation agency of Wushu Ranks System in Shijiazhuang colleges.
