The Investigation On New Socialist Countryside Construction In The West Region Of China

New countryside construction is an indispensable part in the movement of Socialism with Chinese Characteristic. China is an developing country with more than 800 million farmers. As to the problem of constructing the well-to-do society and realizing the modernization of Socialism with Chinese Characteristic, the most arduous work is in the problem of countryside, agriculture, and farmer. The problem of countryside, agriculture, and farmer is the one that matters the whole condition no matter to developed country or to developing country. New countryside construction in China is significant both to China and to the development of international socialist movement.For China is expansive in territory, the level of economic and social development in different area is fluctuant. The western region is comparatively slow in pace of economic and social development, and includes multitudinous minority areas, frontier areas and depressed areas. There exists remarkable difference in aspects of infrastructural construction, natural resource condition and population diathesis between the countries in western region and the countries in middle and eastern regions. Only can we find out the right way of regional development and make progress of socialist new countryside construction in western region by adequately considering the special condition of nature and economic development and social structure, and summarize the experiences of socialist new countryside construction in western region seriously.The thesis statement of this article is the construction of socialist new countryside in western region. In the basis of information collection and literature retrospection, take Balikun country, Hami area, Xinjiang as case study. By means of questionnaire survey and interview in peasants, herdsmen and countryside cadres, further analyze the present condition and problems, bring out the consideration of socialist new countryside construction in western region. At last, by integrating theory with practice, try to seek the countermeasure of improving socialist new countryside construction in western region.
