New Socialist Countryside Construction is a key action to solve "the issues of agriculture, farmers and rural areas", to build a well-off society comprehensively, and to construct a harmonious society. Local universities are built by the local government to cultivate personnel, provide with intellectual support and promote local economic development. In the long history of development, local universities have been closely tied to local economic development.
