Rational Analysis Of Contemporary College Students' Political Participation

The study of the contemporary college students'rational political participation is not only conducive to improving their political quality, promoting their comprehensive and harmonious development, but also is the basic requirement of social stability and political democratization. This paper combines relevant theories of ideological and political education, political science with sociology, and uses the research method of combining theory with survey, and adopts Weber's "rationality" theory as a unique breakthrough point. Firstly, it expounds the meaning and significance of contemporary college students'rational political participation. Secondly, it clarifies the basic status quo and major characteristics of contemporary college students'political participation through surveying. Thirdly, it analyzes roundly the objective and subjective influencing factors of contemporary college students'rational political participation. Finally, it brings forward main ways to realizing the goal basing on the specific requirements and influencing factors.
