Questioning is one of the approaches adopted frequently in classroom teaching. It is also one of the main teaching methods which make the teaching objectives achieved. Therefore, it plays an important role in classroom teaching. As a result, it is frequently used by teachers in the classroom, especially in Chinese teaching of primary school. Because the students in primary school have limited experience, they have also no abilities to study independently, and they should understand the content for teaching under the guidance of teachers. Consequently, research on questioning in primary Chinese teaching is of great practical significance for primary language teaching.This thesis attempts to reveal the real condition of classroom teaching from the perspective of the effectiveness on questioning through the observation on classroom teaching, the analysis of teaching cases and the interview of teachers on the front line. It also discusses the understandings of classroom questioning of teachers on the front line, and the advantages and problems on classroom questioning in primary Chinese teaching. Then the author analyzes the factors which affect questioning, and put forward the strategies on improving the effectiveness of questioning in primary Chinese teaching. These thesis emphases the key to improve the effectiveness of questioning in primary Chinese teaching is teachers. And then the author suggests the ways on improving the effectiveness of questioning in primary Chinese teaching from the four aspects in the follows. Firstly, accentuation learning and gathering experience in order to reinforce the construction of teachers' self-ability; Updating ideals and enriching knowledge in order to strengthen the awareness of effective questioning; Working hard and improving abilities in order to have the ability of effective questioning; Practicing actively and reflection diligent in order to improve the skills on questioning. Secondly, it is better to understand the characteristics of science and deed down inside with the clearly defined goal, grasp the key of questioning in class, and highlight the humanity in order to sublimate of the spirit of questioning in class. Thirdly, it is better to hold the idea of people foremost, respect for differences, understand the characteristics of students'personality, and pay more attention to the different kind of students in order to variety the designing of effective question. Lastly, it is better to equal between teachers and students keep harmonious in classroom in order to create a good teaching environment and build a platform for questions effectively; it is better to cultivate relationships between teachers and students by guidance; it is also better to encourage praise by teachers and keep a harmonious atmosphere in order to make students study more effective.
