Spread of the new Chinese vocabularies through the various ways is accompanied with continuous development of information technology. As a Chinese teacher, I find that a great number of new vocabularies have appeared in the Chinese study.We teachers and parents are often confused with such situation where our students consciously or unconsciously use these new vocabularies which have never been taught in the school before. However, vocabulary in a language is not stationary and unchangeable, but inevitably to be affected by some social factors, such as social development, social revolution, cultural spread and so on. It is impossible for our students to get rid of the influence from the new vocabularies. The teachers should focus on how to deal with this influence for their teaching Chinese.In this paper, we will mainly discuss the new development of the Chinese word formation, so that we can learn more about the appearance, development and dying out of new vocabulary. Meanwhile, our research will cast light upon the two different attitudes from nowadays educators. At last, the responsibility of teachers to the dealing with the new vocabularies will be concluded.Understanding and using the new vocabularies properly can evocated the interest of students in studying Chinese and help the teacher better carry out the teaching plan.
